What to do with a fridge-full-of-nothing & cant-be-bothered
Half a box of fresh-ish spinach leaves, sauteed in olive oil. Half a clove of thinly sliced garlic. A few slices of red chilli. Let it wilt a little.
Add a dash of water, a dash of soy sauce, a sprinkling of brown sugar, and a handful of raisins. Let it all fall into a greenish heap.
Lightly toast the last of the sliced almonds.
Done and delicious!
(A great side dish with mashed potatoes and fish (kudos to Shani for that), pretty good mixed through pasta too (without the soya sauce and with lemon juice+rind instead))
